Well I don’t think wise choice as there are actually nothing important nerf left for them, and even when Russian tanks nerfed, there are Strv 122 and Leopard 2a7V/HU left. And there are upgraded version for those tanks awaited in future, and USSR also has bunch of tanks that still not ingame that are better than current ingame.
Just there are no hope for US Army in this game. They just don’t fit PVP game style, fit into reality only.

not really russia has nothing besides the t80bvm obr2023 and the t90m with arena that could be competitive.
if they actually fix the problems with abrams it would be competitive, and sepv3 would be really strong.
they do, their best afvs are just nerfed for no reason(see hstvl, abrams, adats and bradley)
thats more than enough to add it to m1a1HA ingame

You may forgot about Object 187 and 90s 152 mm prototypes. Indeed their informations are quite known and others can be filled with speculation at the same level Gaijin does on western tanks.
if we were counting those than all the 130 and 140mm western tanks would be valid too. and imo we shouldnt add those anytime soon as theyre incredibly strong, also im pretty sure object 187 had a 125mm
not come near but I think current 12.0 tanks were not so underperforming compared to them. Except for soviet 152 mms their armor and gun sight is inferior to current top dogs of their own nation. Beasts like Strv 122 or 2A7V/HU would still have their place on those age.
For 187 yes 125 mm but better mobility and protection than current soviet tree MBTs.
im not sure about that, it wouldve a slightly worse relikt and shtora. i think a t90m with arena would be better in the short term as an addition. especially cause we know it exists and works for sure.
As long as only 5 players in the whole world can use it at any time.

why tho. t80b and t80u are more fun with thermals, m1a1ha would be more fun with the upgraded armor package. there is reason to add it to both. why would you make the game worse for hyper realistic reason? when we have paper vehicles and one off unfinished prototypes ingame already?
They were only given thermals at the time because of balance and lack of more suitable tanks. If T-90A was introduced when it should have, then those T-80s wouldn’t have needed themals.

But Gaijin standard are clear that prototype and such are ok to be add as a main tech tree vehicles as long as they exist irl.
As KPZ/MBT-70 , Leopard 2K , and such being example.

all tanks made after 1998 were made with D.U Hulls and turrets.

Yes used. Where, that is the question. Stop providing absolutely ambiguous sources that say ‘ABRAMS use DU armour’. They do, but not in the hulls. U have so far provided no credible source that states other than the 5 in school, any ABRAMS ever mounted DU in hull.

If I was Gaijin, I would introduce it as an event vehicle. Will drive people crazy and sell extremely well in the market afterwards. Provided someone can identify a single of these tanks IRL. But also beware the mobility penalization might be a deal breaker.
On the other hand, don´t expect the armor rating on the front hull to reach even 600mm KE, so in practice the range of APFSDS it will protect against will be very limited. BM42 sure but better Sov/RU APFSDS very surely not.
As far as I can work out DU armour took the KE turret protection from 460 mm to about 650 mm. That’s about a 1.41x improvement.
So if we assume It makes the same improvement to the hull armour it would be 350 mm x 1.41 = 493.5 mm KE.
