Absolutely not. APS is very useful. Especially against ATGM, and Helicopters.

yeah, can’t say I’ve seen many KF41s but even if it did defeat missiles perfectly, the elevation is just 25 degrees so lofting/plane launched AGMs won’t care about it, and the limit is 700m/s so I think all HEAT-FS around that BR will hit you anyway?
Compared to the +55 I think Black Night has along with the 1700m/s speed limit
I mean, we could have had a FnF missile with AJAX if they add the proposed addons.
2S38 was never issued APFSDS but it has it, because it “Could” use it.
I propose AJAX gets Javelin because it “Could” use it, even if it hasn’t received it yet following the same principle.

It’s still enough to stop some ground-launched ATGM that are widely seen on enemy teams at that BR (think BMD, AFT09, etc). Even the APS on the T-55AMD is good enough for that. Though, not that this Boxer will survive the autocannon spam that typically accompanies many of the ATGM slingers, lol.

Then they’ll say: “This is a different modification of the same vehicle; this kit isn’t suitable for this one,” and then one day they’ll add another vehicle. Like the PUMA VJTF.

I mean I prefer that honestly, a (currently) 10.3 one with just the gun, then an 11.0+ one with the ATGM and PSO kit.
But the issue is that the Javelin mount hasn’t been used on Ajax (yet) so they’re not adding it (and seeing as the Boxer has been shown with it you can argue that Javelin isn’t planned to be used on Ajax). Event Boxer with the Spikes is coming at least.
Hopefully the armour gets better, because with an extra 13 tonnes over the warrior you think it would be better
