Moved the internal location of the button which returns player control from the aircraft to it 's launch ship( does not seem to have changed the actual functionality ):
As someone who supports both but came from the submarine forum first, then here. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t want submarines first. Ideally, we’d have them both at the same time, the update could be called “above and below the waves” (this would make it warthunders longest major update name at five words). Considering we’ve had what, 2? 3? Submarine tests, what will most likely happen is we get submarines first.
I hope for both at the same time, however it seems unlikely that we get ACs first considering the fact that aircraft carriers are very hard to balance in a game that tries to capture realism. Not to mention the models for many submarines have already been made. It’s possible that we will have to wait for more modern ships to arrive (like missile carriers and things of the sort).
Also, why can’t they make it so that when playing naval battles there is an aircraft carrier behind the spawn or something for more experienced players to rearm?
They probably forgot about them. Remember then (and still on low rank) the destruction of enemy airfield in air modes grand you victory? Probably the same deal, but, as mentioned, Snail forgot about carriers
I was seeing more as a use for ship launched anti shipping missiles. Ofc replace the radar screen with a map and allow for drawing flight paths and you could totally apply it to carriers, although I worry that’s a little bit sea power, naval warfare in the missile age.
