What is the Mission Called?

I didn’t post it on the WT live, the mission is inspired and based by the work of CousinHyrax, Bombe18 and NorthyPark along with my own efforts. You can go to their WT live by clicking their name and try their playable carrier mission yourself. What I have done is basically editing the .blk file of CousinHyrax’s mission by replacing the original assets name with the assets name I want. Since the original mission is designed for WW2 IJN carrier and aircraft, after editing the flight deck operation is even more buggy thus I didn’t plan to post this version on WT live. I would probably post a fully functional mission after I finished my exam and learn how to use War Thunder CDK, which is at least two months later. If you can’t wait you can do it yourself or I can send my file here so you can have a try.

Thats fair. I just tried CousinHyrax’s Mission, it is really great. The fighters are good, The Bombers do their job. The only issue i had was with Landing. But other than that it was a great Proof of Concept

Quick Question. How did you change the Carrier you control in the Mission from the Shokaku to the Forrestal?

Go to War Thunder\content\pkg_local\gameData\units\ships\Campagne\uk_destroyer_g_grafton.blk, open it with Notepad or Notepad++, replace jp_aircraftcarrier_shokaku with us_aircraftcarrier_forrestal, if you wanna try Admiral Kuznetsov, then replace it with ussr_aircraftcarrier_admiral_kuznetsov

If you wanna edit planes on aircraft carrier and their load out, go to WarThunder/UserMissions/CousinHyraxCarrierMission1_1.blk, open it with notepad++ (technically you can do it with notepad but it will be much slower), go to line 1215, replace original unit_class and weapons from armada05 (line 1215) to armada32 (line 2715) with the plane and loadout you want. Doing that by using search and replace function of notepad++ will be much more faster. And I suggest you edit only armada05 and set loadout as default at the first time to see the changes work or not. Good luck.

Any new updates on carriers?
So apparently something interesting i found is that Italy actually had plans to turn one of their Cruisers, The RN Bolzano, into a Carrier in 1943. Unfortunately the Ship was sunk in 1942 but these plans look interesting

is there any comparison thing like that but with a Midway class or measurement thing (preferably football field, but i can work with other stuff)?
