Air Simulator is one of the most, if not the most neglected PvP Gamemodes in game. Its been years since we’ve gotten any meaningful new content for this gamemode and the gamemode itself hasnt been updated in years (we still have F-86 sabre AI aircraft in top tier matches…)
But the most pressing issue. We havent had a new map in nearly 3 years. Our last new map was Rocky Canyon added in October 2022. There was hope that the new map would be the Falklands Map, but it was scaled down to a 2:1 ratio and as a result, is probably too small for ASB.
So im here asking the question. Why has Air Sim been totally abandonned by the devs?
Because they don’t give a damn. Why bother with air sim when they can exploit a different user base and hope to force over sim players to the other game?
Yeah i wish it would get some updates aswell.
Iam not playing so often but some new maps or varyity to the objectives would be nice.
Like on some maps you could get a “Find enemy Train and destroy it” objective wich could look like this
This could be so cool.
Or when we getting subs we could get “find enemy sub in D2” wich would be cool aswell and planes with Naval Radar could actually be usefull /have a easier time finding them like the PBM 5A Mariner.
