Even more i guess these maps arent long enough for what we would. They are big for early jet, even more for props(yes u can get sim map in prop) but we’re talking about jet taking more than M1 at grd and double at high alt. In these map in top tier, instead of seeing enemies in 2mins, u see them in 5. It doesnt even bother me for rb coz meeting is still fast, and i noticed long ago we get more reward, but that aint the subject
Trust me, i love the effort, but the devs will NOT respond.
I’ve been trying everything to get some form of a response for 4-5 years and i dont ever get a peep.
At this point ive invested hundreds of hours creating threads on here - Proposing various longer form detailed ideas, creating slides, maps, graphics, etc. I mean i have a whole folder on my desktop titled WarThunder Forum Ideas.
Yet i got nothing from the devs…
Not a “somethings coming”. Not a “nothing is planned yet”. Nothing. Just being ignored.
A few relatively big war thunder CCs have even submitted YouTube polls gaining 10k+ votes showing 90% + in support of a new game mode like RB EC and even they get nothing from the devs.
The only conclusion i can logically come to is that the topic of a new permanent air game mode is BLACKLISTED by Gaijin and they are specifically instructed to ignore the topic.
And if that is true then likely nothing is coming.
The devs don’t really seem to care much about Aviation outside of the Ground game modes.
Outside of mid tier air matches, i never see a name i know to be a dev playing the game.
I dont think there is any passion amongst the dev team for upper tier air gameplay outside of CAS for ground battles.
I think they treat top tier air battles as a cash cow and for grinding vehicles for use in Ground.
At this point, i think the only way we’ll get change is if we see player numbers in Air game modes drop. The steam charts are showing Stagnation in the game overall but not a drop yet.
Keep trying but temper your expectations. Game mode discussion in War Thunder does not seem to be something the devs like to talk about.
Rather they’re more interested in responding to tiny insignificant vehicle mechanics, sounds, and personal insults.
Maybe try calling Smin or Stona insulting names in these posts. Maybe that’ll get them to respond lol.
Keep up the fight tho.

yeah, hurt their wallet with playercount would be the best way, new vehicle are cool but player will get bore eventually @Smin1080p_WT @Stona_WT
