Aiming points, radar, and targeting pod slaving

Hi all,

While using the aiming points for ground attack, I often have a problem with my target pod (or any TV sensor integrated to the aircraft itsefl) getting automatically slaved to the TWS radar locks (the red square is slaved with the soft lock square).
Then when I use the command “link point of interest to aiming point”, it’s actually the aiming point that change and got slaved to the point of interest (which is the TWS lock on an aircraft, see screenshot).
Normaly, the aiming point should stay where it is and it’s the targeting pod that should be slaved to it. Not the contrary.

I am not sure yet to have found the proper way to avoid that, except by shuting down the radar.
Pretty sure I am doing something wrong though.

I need to write a suggestion for a toggle for this behaviour (on the to-do list tomorrow on my day off)

But if you place a marker on the ground first, then it overrides and stops it from cueing to the radar lock.

For example, using the “Sight Stabilisation” keybind and pointing it basically anywhere, then you can move the TPod, set a target via the map, etc etc like normal and the radar wont override it until reset.

You should be able to set a POI via the map and that should override the radar POI, but its not working currently, Bug report is in for this Community Bug Reporting System
