Aim120c5 but no drag fix for r77 and r77-1

They don’t model sustainers they just increase the burn time which is kinda rubbish

yes, the main issue is that with the missile and energy advantage the 120C may just go pitbull before jets like the Rafale, J-10/J-11 and others can even get withnin firing range of their AAM’s, literally denying the other jets the counter and making the team that has the most 120C carriers win

I expect that which is why not engaging until the F-15 has vomited missiles and sitting in or near notch angle would be the best way to deal with it. Then within 25km start to pressure the F-15

Unfortunately not every jet can do that when they are high and fast.

the sheer altitude and speed advantage will just deny any ability to do so as they will always land their missile before any other jet does unless someone in a flanker is going as fast as possible and yeeting an ER which is just way less competitive

F-15C are all with PW-220 engine
But i believe we could have got F-15EX with a bit more missiles(12 or if you want - 20) and AESA instead of C-5s on 15E

EX is too much of a push probably wait till xmas update for that one.
I expect that and the Su-35S

not really
same ± FM as F-15E, but more missiles and better radar.

with gaijin’s implementation su35 would be just 50km zone of death where you cant do anything against it. due to fact it can notch enemy missiles, while still tracking you

Typhoon with CAPTOR-E Mk2 would be the same.

Su-35S will come this year I think

yep. and thats why it shouldnt be added yet
same for gripen-e btw

yea just like this one made months ago Community Bug Reporting System

it would make it better cus right now it acts like an airbrake with rocket motor

It doesnt have a sustainer, and the dragfix would be of dubious help as it would both increase amd decrease drag.

To answer your question, the Su-27SM is incapable of using the dual pylon. There is not clearance in between the engines for it to fit. The Su-35 has a slightly different airframe which allows it.

As for the Su-30SM, I don’t know if it is the same case, but so far at least, it has not been seen with them.

it was less than a month

Typhoon and Rafale were added less than a month after f15e

Prior to that the F-15C with 120s was the best jet.
The E just took it to another level.

yes and no, the Japanese f15c was the best jet, as it is both more maneuverable and gets better missiles than the other 2

but also that was specifically talking about f15e which was meta for less than a month

It merged together only one jet could as high and as fast and that was the F-15C which doninated with 8 120s then Gaijin added the E

So the F-15 was dominant for months
The E model just ensured that.

I haven’t found a single source saying that Su-35S has bigger distance between engines, in fact i only found that Sukhoi had to redesign gondolas because AL-41F-1S is bigger that AL-31F-1, so Su-35S should have even smaller distance between engines than Su-27.

The relevant post is in the Su-27 family discussion thread. I’m not going through 2 separate topics and +10,000 posts to find it.

The margin is literally like centimeters too small to fit the double rack.
