I’d suggest bigger maps and a more spread out frontline, with more varied objectives. if you only stretch out the frontline you still end up having people engaged seconds after taking off, and said frontline collapsing right away at the slightest imbalance leading to airfield camping. Especially with the addition of Amraam-C and better missiles, whose No-Escape Zone would make most of the map unuseable given the current map sizes. I think the current EC maps are the minimum for size at top tier, so one has space to get to altitude and position, or evade fighters if you like playing strike aircraft. I remember there being a leak about strategic bomber testing being considered even

Aim-120C is far closer to R-27EA than it is to R-77-1, which is closer to aim-120b if gaijin refuses to fix variable drag on missiles
The problem with this is that most ppl want more arcady games. Long matches won’t make the avergae player enjoy the game more they want action and thats the problem.

To be honest, just fix actual Fox 3. MICA is 80km range, yet we get 50km. The wobling makes the range absolutely shit. And from what I know MICA is worse than AIM120C, but on par with Early variant. MICA NG is there the match the AIM120C, and METEOR to beat everything.
We get a rafale with the lowest amount of missile in top tier, with the best radar, but no missile to make a difference. Older radar with AIM120 will inevitably kill a rafale with AESA, because mica over 20km is a miss in real condition. When AMRAAM is 30km.
If MICA has proper range, yes it is powerful, but France is a minor nation, i would rather see a minor nation dominating than a Top nation. And with only 6 missiles (4 if we can carry IR missile), it won’t be such a thing.

AIM-120 isn’t even the best ARH missile 😭. Plus every nation (except russia) has them, not like a counter is needes.
It is, also france,china and russia dosen’t have it. My R-77 maybe can get a target from 13km at best same time while the F-15s launch their missels from 30+ km.
