2.3. Content of the User’s posts on Gaijin’s Websites
The official language of Gaijin’s Websites is English. The use of foreign languages, transliteration, and deliberate distortion of the English language is not welcome (except in subsections for specific languages). For the avoidance of doubt, such restrictions do not apply to Gaijin’s Websites dedicated entirely to a particular language.
The text of the post (message) should be clearly readable, which means that Users shall not use pseudo-graphics, colored text markup, capital letters (Caps Lock), bold text, and font size change abuse.
The subject of the Forum’s thread (topic) must be informative and briefly display the content of such a thread. It is forbidden to write the message text in capital letters (except for acronyms).
The Users are not permitted to use red color when drafting and designing posts and signatures on the Forum. The red font is reserved for Administration and the Website Managers.
The Administration and the Website Managers have the right to remove a thread or a message, regardless of relevance, User’s interest, and other factors. In such cases, the Administration and the Website Managers are not required to provide any additional comments regarding their actions.

Lol the f18 is not in anyway the US’s best dogfighter .
It loses too much speed and is crushed by the f15a and the f16 in the 2 circle .
The f18 will win the 1 circle but you cannot force a 1 circle fight , against a competent player it will lose to all other planes except the mig29s and the mirages .

They don’t. They’ll rate a lot LONGER, but the F-18 with curbstomp both before the second circle.

No, that’s for the flat-out rate.
It can straight up outpull both aircraft in the span of a circle and get its shot off.
modern defense systems won’t help against modern ir missiles.
All the elecronic warfare things really don’t influence this
LDIRCM like on mi28 currently defeats IIR missiles like iris-T in wt but only Su-57 has LDIRCM

The specific data of the IRCCM of the AIM-9C on the SLAMRAAM had already be found: it utilizes an FOV + Seeker shut off type IRCCM with a seeker FOV of 0.25° (for comparison the TY-90 on the Chinese helicopters uses FOV + Seeker shut off with 1.25° FOV). In contrast, the R-73 only has an FOV type IRCCM with an FOV of 0.75°, and the AAM-3 a seeker shut off type IRCCM. What you’re suggesting would be like making a mixture of the AAM-3 and the R-73, but better in all regards, and just in case, also not give the IRIS-T, AAM-5, R-74M/M2, A-Darter, ASRAAM, PL-10, MICA-IR and Python-5 to the other nations. That’s the absolute opposite of balance.
Also, in case you’re curious, these missiles will be coming to the game, during the russian dev stream BVVD stated that the 5th gen IR missiles would only come to the game once the 5th generation fighters are added. And since Smin already talked about this, don’t expect them by the end of this year, because it’s not on their plans. Probably by June or December 2027 you’ll get the AIM-9X for a lot of 4.5 gens, as well as 5th gens with AIM-9X (this is just a guess)

Fun fact: The AAM-3 should also have seeker shutoff + gatewidth IRCCM. As its a dual band missile, which on manpads/heli IRs in game is also modeled as having the two afformentioned type.
Also the AAM-3 is missing a lot of offboresight, i did some testing with corrected values for dual plane and it has comically good turning (better then the R-73 past a few hundred meters range).
NGL the next thing we should recieve in game is the Python-4 /buffed AAM-3 / PL-8B etc.
Aim-9M has more than a few outstanding bug reports too. Like better lock ranges and Push ahead (one of its other forms of IRCCM)
So yeah, could milk the current set of AAMs quite a bit if they wanted
