I want to submit a new bug report for the F-14b to add the aim-7p. there was already a bug report but sadly that was rejected on unsupported info from a user.

As you can see Heatloss commented
"The AIM-7P operates as a 7MH on the F-14A and B because it lacks the DL capabilities in Sparrow mode. Missiles are programmed as such in AWG-9 when loaded. I am working on finding a source for this that meets the requirements set out by Gaijin.
I would suggest not adding it separately because it would not perform meaningfully different from the 7M if implemented correctly."
no sources or proof was uploaded to the bug report to counter the original proof that the F-14b received the aim-7p.
I would like to gather some sources to counter this argument and resubmit a bug report if what Heatloss is saying is false. If anyone has any sources to help, it would be greatly appreciated.
