Aim-7 at 12.0

And the magic 2, you say it’s good and things but when I play it, it falls for flares easier than an aim-9b, no I’m just joking but it literally flies like it doesn’t have IRCCM, they just fall for flares really easily

Yesssss, reply to me, only to meeeeeee

I’m not on the game rn, I’ll do a solid evidence compilation when I’ll get on.

How are you firing the magic 2?

It needs to be within like 2km rear aspect for the IRCCM to work.

Are we definitely playing the same game? Magic 2 is highly resistant to flares, but for that to be the case, you need to create the right conditions: a visible rear hemisphere (the more visible the rear, the better), and ideally from a distance of 2–2.5 km ((The closer, the better) — at that range, it’s lethal, and even 50 flares might not help the opponent. It’s a powerful missile that turns sharply immediately after separating from the rail and accelerates very rapidly; for me, it’s one of the best dogfight missiles for the Fox 2, along with the R-73 and the AAM-3.

Isn’t the only difference that the TT one has a BETTER RWR? or is that the F1CT?

You need to combine it with other defensive maneuvers, PD radars will filter it out pretty quick otherwise.

The FOV IRCCM isn’t very good in front and side aspect or at long range, you need to get up close and in rear aspect so it can zero in on their exhaust

Yeah I know that, literally yesterday I shot magic 2 at the F/A-18 I was chasing, shot at 1.5km from the back, it was right on it engines, like not from the side or front that it couldn’t see the main heat, he dropped a few flares and it still didn’t hit

You mind showing us how you notch? Like a video. We might be able to help you.

Yeah yeah I’ll make a good compilation once I get on the game

Now do it in more cursed FM at 12.0 BR while the Aim7 has reached the top speed.

@ryniUU TBH, the 12.0 BR is a “6-7 meme” BR - you either trade live for kill or get clipped without any kills
I suggest you:

  1. Stay defensive like multi-pathing, or pre-notching position. Plan your engage according to the enemy swarm direction (usually go to left of the map than engage right side, or stay behind your teammate swarn)
  2. Let the teammate with more potent missiles to do the 1st wave engagement
  3. Your missile is a deadly for its BR so timing for reflection angle is a must
  4. Optional - Rat move if you can access the furball from top down → its a harvest time
  5. The rolling move is unreliable - I would not recommend it.

It’s very reliable, you just have to know the timing and speeds for when it’s actually possible to do

You just said only the flashy things except the reality of live matches with all the limitations and bad elements.

Funny, considering I’ve posted multiple examples of me doing it
in live matches

If you wanna show him, do it in the F1 and give your thought process through out the match like 2-3 games.

Would an F-4J count?

Airframes should be similar enough

I do not plan on playing the F-1 simply because that tier sucks, and it’s stock.
I am not in the mood to stockgrind at that br especially

Lowkey its been a long while wince the F1C has had a “bad” FM, like, its no F-16, but for 12.0 and below its one of the better ones in the game imo.

That’s not helping also, I could even roll at merged alt in a FGR2 but its not reliable.
I could also play for KDA on a match but it still not helping my teammate to win
There’s a lot to account for.

BTW, chaffing more often doesnt really actually help that much, a periodic 1-2 second release is more then enough for close range, and for longer ranges 3-4 second periodic releases are fine.

Its more of you want chaff to be visible to the missile as you enter into a notch, then there needs to be a ton of it around you.

And also, periodically dropping chaff does just make people somewhat less likely to target you, because you can be harder to lock in the first place in some situations.
