Even Alpha had smokeless motor. Pictures in my report are from 1980s and even preproduction test missiles had smokeless motor (check black-white painted one).

because its talking collectively about all of the included variants in the document

It would have said that the AIM-120B introduced a smokeless motor. Rather, it says it has electronic/compatibility improvements.

it doesn’t say aim-120b introduced a smokeless motor because it didn’t. all of the variants included have it

Don’t think the AIM-120A has a smokeless motor, but that’s from what I found-

it uses same propellant. feel free to send me whatever you found so we can dissect it.

Generalizing doesn’t help the case, Gaijin won’t accept a document that says “The AIM-120 AMRAAM has a smokeless motor”. Rather, it is best to find a manual/declassified doc that explicitly states “The AIM-120B has a smokeless motor”.

it was accepted bro

Send that bug report please. Did not expect that out of all the sources Gaijin accepts.

It does, indeed. It was one of the features upon which Hughes got the contract.

Likely not going anywhere, but that’s just assumption-

look at the date on paper and look at when aim-120b and c came. theyre talking about a smokeless motor even before those missiles were introduced

yeah, its accepted but often they dont care and ignore things for balance reasons. maybe frustrating but i feel like i dont want to deal with the bullshit of smokeless amraams even though i support the bug report lol
