This is comical at this point, you dont even know the definition of Delta V yet sit here and try to lecture me on it.

Delta V is mandatory to properly gauge the kinematic performance of a missile, omitting is willingly leaving out a literal core component of rocketry.

not surprises really but what surprises me is that EFT don’t get it despite being 14.0 jet as well.

Tbh I do get the F/A-18s getting them since their overall flight performance is pretty bad beyond funni turning, but given the F-15s also get them yeah, I dont see why the EFTs should not also get them.

In the end its not a major upgrade for all aircraft but it will be a noticeable +.

Those other planes shouldn’t get them unless gaijin does some actual decompression by increasing the max BR to 14.7.

And if they do come, gaijin needs to fix the PL-12, and Mica to be more realistic.

Yes yes yes I know that Russia will have it’s LRM superiority challenged, its so sad that a missile that almost reaches the R-77-1 in total max range has appeared.

Gaijin recognizes the subparity of aim-120s by adding C-5

Actual rationalization players do instead: it will be broken! decompression!

And if they fix the PL-12/MICA, they can surely ungimp the AIM-120A right? Or you will skip it conveniently as most of modern US systems?

Once again, the R-77-1 is worse than the Aim-120B at BVR, and it only has a longer range against an AFK target.

Also, I’m more conserved about having everything get better, without decompression. We still have ARH-less 13.0s fighting top tier, and some of those same 13.0s are way better than others at the same BR.

I’m not surprised that F-18s got the C-5s first, but the people asking for other nations to get them are asking for the game to be objectively worse because of increased BR compression.

Is it really fair to add them to other planes, while we still have stuff like the J-11A at 13.7, or the Mig-29G at 13.0?

there is an official raytheon purchase did for uk in 2003

and for tornado F.3 in 2004 the FSP programme includes the aim-120C-5 for it
(apud secret projects forum sources)

This has been disproven ad nauseam at this point with in game models and testing, the 120A and B in every situation will reach the same maximum range as the 77-1 about 12 to 15 seconds after the 77-1 and lags about 3 to 4 seconds behind the 77-1 at all stages of flight due to it’s reliance on it’s sustainer.

I loose braincells anytime someone leads in with “I only want decompression” no you want to keep your superiority in play, you never cared about slaughtering lower BR vehicles until you yourself started to get slaughtered.

You mean no. You didn’t asked for decompression when the R-77-1 and the MICA buffs came into place, sounds like another convenient argument when Russia’s dominance comes contested.

Yes, and i’d like them to add it to the last possible EF.

Meh, I had to play the HMS-less+anemic-sparrowed F-15A in a HMS+IR missile meta, players with R-27ERs won’t suffer as much.
