Hi again,
I’m still experiencing that AI aircraft (e.g., MiG-15) are much harder to lock with radar and ARH missiles compared to player-piloted ones. To recap: I’m using [list your aircraft: F-16C, F-14B, Eurofighter (Germany), Mirage 2000C] in both test flights and real battles, using TWS, HMD PD, SRC PD HDN modes, etc. But the lock range/detection seems significantly worse on AI.
What I’d like to know:
- Is this behaviour intentional (i.e., AI have a reduced RCS/lock rate to balance PvE or mixed PvP + PvE matches)?
- Is this a bug / unintended side-effect (e.g., AI radar signature set incorrectly, or sensor logic broken for AI targets)?
- If intentional: can you share any documentation or patch notes explaining the change, so we understand how to play around it (e.g., closer ranges, different missile/radar mode)?
- If a bug: can you please escalate this for investigation (I can supply replays/logs if needed)?
Thanks for looking into this. I enjoy the game and want to understand whether I need to adapt tactics (e.g., closer range engagements) or whether this is something that needs fixing.
