The upturned exhaust featured on the AH-64E (and UH-60M) sends the engine exhaust up into the rotors to spread out the exhaust faster and make it harder for IR missiles to lock and reduce the signature on thermal imagers.
Will we see this represented in game or will it have a full IR signature?
I would love to hear of some other helicopters that would benefit from this being added too

And yeah, I think it is modeled since Ive seen it on wt wiki and x ray view as a feature
I know, that was just another example because this isn’t unique to just the AH-64E
EC665 (all variant) should have it too but I don’t know if it’s modelled in game or not. Gazelle could have a deflector but it is not in game.
Russian helis does have hirss as a specific modification and it has an impact on the IR signature. However this is realistic as most of their heli got modified to install the feature whereas on the occidental the feature was integrated in the heli from the get go
