At the moment, the Mi-35 of Indonesia has already been added to the helicopter tree of Japan on the dev server, however, Indonesia also has the AH-64E Apache with AGM-179 JAGM; can it be added to supplement the Indonesian helicopter sub-tree in this major update coming or should we expect it in the next one?
And yes, there is already a suggestion about this helicopter on the forum: Indonesian Army AH-64E - Suggestions - Devs / Passed - War Thunder — official forum, maybe the developers forgot about it?
I think the Mi-35p is just a warmup for adding 🇮🇩subtree, maybe 64e could be added in the next update. And abt agm-179, I don’t think 🇮🇩 has it.
Never had R60s, Exhaust cooler on the 35P. Gaijin gave it Shturm (9M114 Kokon) when most public mentions of ATGMs domestically always said Ataka. The training dummies that were always seen on public display are the same 9M120 dummies. The only source we could find for Kokon is SIPRI.
(Funny thing, SIPRI is the only source ik that mentions it having Igla but never spotted or mentioned in Indonesia. Gaijin didn’t give the 35P Iglas so… what even are the standards anymore.)
Point is, Gaijin can give things as long as it has the capability to/ the capability to use said things were not removed.
Seeing how Japan is maxed out at DJP and Thailand can only provide AH-6, I’m willing to wager Indonesia’s 64E has a good chance of being the next step up even though such new weapons aren’t in TNI service.
I’ve been seeing a lot of reports about the Mi-35P issue, and it really seems like they just copied and pasted the solution without really fixing it☹️. But with so many people talking about it, I’m pretty sure they’ll have to change it eventually.😋
Yeah… the effort they put seem bleak just like the upcoming Thai ground.
Unfortunately, this is true, Indonesia did not purchase AGM-179 JAGM for its helicopters, but for balance with other nations that will also receive missiles fired and forgotten, I think they can be added, after all, a plane like the F-16AJ should not have existed at all, since the Japanese Air Force did not have the F-16 in service, so some exceptions for Japan and Indonesia are generally normal.
Thankfuly, the report for Ataka has been accepted and submitted as suggestion, still waiting for the missing FFAR and wrong S-8 variant though
Worried that needing to model the specific FFAR launcher and rail might put Gaijin off from actually doing it.
Not only that. Submitted as a suggestion? I’m not familiar with bug-reporting but that sounds like a maybe at best compared to “will be added” or “will be fixed.”
At least the S-8KOMs are easy to fix.
When the aircraft is ready.
It’s a different model to the AH-64E USA is getting.
I of course support it.
Ataka will most likely lead to a BR increase, and Indonesian Mi-35P doesn’t even have auto tracker on its optics. So we either gonna get better missiles on a premium vehicle of the same br (yet another instance of P2W content) or will move it up where it might not be nearly as competitive because of the fire control system being outdated.
Does this have DIRCM?
Maybe☹️
iirc ROCA AH-64Es doesn’t has DIRCMs. So I wonder does the Indonesian version comes with DIRCM or not… That’s a big difference eh? I don’t know much about apaches haha
They might have it later, but I’m quite sure that the ones that they bought in 2010s doesn’t ☹️
oof… i hope gaijin won’t add two seperate versions into the TT then
found a thread for it and it doesn’t seems to have one, only “AAR-57(V) 3/5 Common Missile Warning Systems” i guess it’s a MAWS in War Thunder terms
oof rip
no, to the best of my knowledge neither CIRCM or JAGM-MR have been exported
Wouldnt it be essentially the same with AH-64DJ on the TT then? (again i dont know about apaches I only have the Greek one)
