Germany is one of those nations along side the US where the amount of truly unique vehicles missing is shocking. I could go on and on how the German TT didnt have a Boxer when its the most used German armored vehicle. Let alone how many US wheeled light tanks and Tank destroyers arent in game yet the competitors are in game already.
It’s literally just UHT, they got it for no reason, and it sits at the same BR as their HAD with Spikes and an autocannon. Nothing even justifies its addition to the French tree. They got it for the sake of it, while they denied Germany a Dutch or Polish Apache.
The french used it. Ofc they got it. You are complaining over having more options like that hurts. It was used by the french and tested by them
Because why would Germany get them. Genuinely why
You also understand you just don’t need to get it lmao it’s a foldered vehicle for a reason.
France received the join BeNeLux nation. Which naturally includes Netherlands.
Okay, but a genuine question.
Why BeNeLux as a whole in the first place?
Belgium: Makes sense in France, i give you that.
Luxembourg: Correct me if I’m wrong, but afaik they have no vehicles of relevance for War-thunder.
Netherlands: Almost no French designs. Basically everything is either German, Dutch (or a joint venture) or from the U.S.
Imo the Netherlands as well as Switzerland for that matter would have been better as subtrees for both Germany and France and the vehicles split up accordingly to fill gaps in the trees.
Now both sides are unhappy because now Gaijin can just copy-paste the entire German top tier to France, to the dismay of both sides. And France can’t get ““their”” Franco-Swiss designs.
broski, thats lot of mental gymnastics to justify wanting AH-64E
It might help that nearly all domestic Dutch vehicles served with the Allies. So that’s ranks 1-5, so more than half of the ranks in WT. Well, the primary claim for Germany (the joint command and the vehicles with them) is younger than the Leo 2. Which means less than 10% of War Thunder.
Only with them being one of the few operators (aka 3) of Allied tech like the Ram IIs.
This is explained in the dev blog:
Developer comment: Our overall goal with the inclusion of a BeNeLux line is to give France more options and versatility, allowing for the creation of stronger lineups throughout the ranks with a variety of different vehicles. BeNeLux don’t quite have enough machines to make a full tree on their own without significant gaps in unit types and eras, so in order to include these machines in War Thunder they’ll be supporting the French tree.
i merely quoted the part of said statement i have issue with, that being dutch stuff. i dont wanna respond to swiss part of the statement
They’ll never get those lmao that was french cope.
i mean its done deal now, but it was still a weird choice because france and germany have enough domestic designs.
And managed to quote it in a way to essentially say the opposite of what was actually written. >.>
And? That doesnt mean it should go to germany
The French on the subreddit are even crazier about it.
