AH-64E Bugs, suggestions, feedback

No no no , its normal for your helicopter to tilt slightly when flying forward , but right now its tilted off to one side , even the main rotor is noticeably off-set and not aligned with the horizon

yes, that is how it is supposed to be

Just compared it to the AH-64D , wierd.
I could have sworn the 64D didnt tilt as much as the 64E.
I was wrong.

Could someone make a bug report on this? Hope it doesn’t get taken down

Anyone think they could help me track down the presentation, this slide is from?

seems like a TWZ exclusive from US army

I think it is still classified.

I know, it’s just that they didn’t quote sources, and the “Tactical Aviation and Ground Munitions” projects office, doesn’t turn up much that is recent. And I was wondering about an actual set of slides as it could prove somewhat useful.

Especially as it references the capability of the M230 30mm loading proximity rounds, and AGR-20Fs wich would addtionally contribute to existing reports, on the issue.

(would also provide an upper limit to the IIR on the JAGM-MR having a “20km range”)

So then why is it in an online article?

Idk. Maybe this presentation was made recently, someone send it to the author of the article, but they haven’t had time to publish the presentation yet.
As you can see…

Perhaps TWZ was given permission to use this slide, since there are some Distribution Statements that allow materials to be published with permission from the US DoD.

It’s still strange where they could have got it from, as the excerpted slide in question appears to lack a date in the bottom right, don’t know it’s weird and doesn’t align with the expected letterhead of most other documents of it’s vintage I would expect.

The date is given on the main slides.

It actually got accepted :)

Other (US) helis, and the Z-10ME, only have access to HE/SAP-HE ones. It’s obviously a balancing decision. That I don’t understand, because these missiles perform horribly, but what can you do.

Not the link you wanted to post, presumably.

Im very happy this means we can use 8 agm-179MR (Ir) and then 8 agm-179MR (Sal)

The JAGM inherited the Integrated Blast-Frag Sleeve (IBFS) warhead of the 114R, not the regular Tandem HEAT warhead of the earlier Anti-Tank variants.

It’s got an improved Fragmentation pattern, and was refitted with Airburst functionality to improve performance against some target sets, it probably also has selective fuse functioning to permit it to be used more effectively against armored targets, as it appears to use, a dual fused “Tulip” shaped liner.

The FireSnake rockets on the Z-10ME are HEAT and (going off the statcard) have a longer range.
