I am not sure if this applies to the other Apaches in game (D, MK. 1, Saraph) but on the Japanese Apache, there seems to be a third MFD that does not seem to work. It is located above the two working MFDs (slightly offset to the right) and is shown in real life to have a purpose.
Here is an image of the Japanese Apache cockpit, without the “Switch MFD 3 Mode” option. And this is an image of a DCS Apache, with the 3rd MFD working as well. Finally, this is an image of the 3rd MFD in an Apache working in real life.
what even is MFD
Multi-function display. Its a screen in a vehicle that displays information, and possibly with the capability to switch modes. Like the F-16C has two MFDs.
