Ags should get m900

How does this prove it’s the exact same cannon?

The designation being M68A1 instead of M68

Do you think maybe the problem is the BREECH? Which is not listed?

Have a good vacation.

His poor wittle brain can’t think up anything complicated like that

Isn’t breech one of the most important parts and if the breeches really were that different they’d probably have different designations?

No? As literally proven in this very thread? At least you got a little heart off on that guys comment saying I’m a dumb*** though.

Serials can be different variants. Look at the air force and their F-15’s, 72-xxxx, 82-xxxx and 89-xxxx are 3 completely different variants

Sure! In this case… they aren’t…and it was already proven as such with the image above if you have a working, functional, human brain. Thanks for playing.

What about M900A1, didn’t they solve the pressure issue with that one?

Oh my god.

Look man, it says M68A1 on both vehicles and from what I can find the M68A1 is the beefed up version that can take M900. Maybe they referred to M900A1 as M900 since the original M900 was long gone if the other guy is right. And anyways, how come it says 1989 on the screenshot, that’s 2 years before desert storm

The AGS also wasn’t a production vehicle so it wouldn’t appear in that document anyway.
IPM1 was the only production vehicle using the M68A1 in the late 1980s so of course it’s the only one listed.

The AGS uses a different 105 to the IPM1. They are labelled the same in game, but that’s an error. Look at the muzzle break on the AGS for instance.

I don’t think they have muzzle breaks

Those low serial numbers are likely early production M68A1s. Considering the M68A1 was in production since 1980 and the first AGS turret was completed in 1984, it’s unlikely the AGS got such an early gun. I don’t think the AGS should get M900 but bickering over serial numbers is not the right argument to make. Unless someone can find out exactly what serial numbers the AGS prototypes used then it’s a mute point.

The AGS does

Why don’t you detail exactly what is different between the breech of the M68A1 and the M68A1.

There are two separate issues with firing M900.

First is the mounting system/recoil mechanism.

Second is the breach.

Both would need to be cleared in order to fire M900.

Theres also the historical issue of M900 not existing while the AGS was being considered

I’m not talking about the M68A1 cannon, but M900A1 105mm shell. It was issued to Marine M60A1, and M60A3.
