AGM - 88 HARM - History, Sources, Evolution & Discussion

its secret american technology

just look at the maverick that obviously cant break mach even when flying 90 degrees down

im pretty sure the amraam-er does the same nonsense

yes,
you see

sekrit documents confirm that mach 4+ in amerikan sources is equal to mach 2

Doesn’t aargm er already go almost mach 4 st a 12km alt launch? Atleast acc to matawgs video where he tested in game

Almost every arm does that, its not limited to the Harm

What do you mean? I’m not sure what you’re claiming. That the missile sustainer can keep high supersonic speed for pretty fat missile in a dive against drag?

Idk what scenario you even talking about

Prolly something like the CM-102, when launched below like 5km the sustainer can barely keep the speed of the missile and when going lower it loses speed because the sustainer is too weak

that has more powerful sustainer AND is less chonky (though it has higher relative drag coef)

566m/s over 40 seconds
vs
402 m/s over 15 seconds

Still has the same effect at the end of the day, maybe not as bad as the CM-102 but it still can happen

and what exactly is the sustainer thrust modelled from?

Why would i know?

It previously had boost, sustainer and then had second pulse based on min speed or time to target

88G had and still has only two triggers for second pulse: timer so it doesn’t ignite when first pulse still burns and speed trigger, 700m/s before update and 725m/s as of now.

At what distance do i launch AGM-88G in ground rb? It keeps missing even at 15km launch

Thats the neat part, you don’t.

The AGM-88C is better in every situation in GRB due to the maps being too small for the AGM-88G to be relevant.

The autopilot seems to undercompensate OR intentional BS by gaijin “because fin small” aka the same bs as with the AIM-120 C5 and D pre sky odyssey buff.
