Sounds like they need to add JP233 to counter the Mi28 :D
It is worth noting that aircraft should be able to use the AGM-65B and 65D interchangeably. They only can’t in-game for “some reason”
I also don’t believe the L-DIRCM should be nearly so effective against D-mavericks and other IIR systems like they currently are, but that is a different discussion.

Is the A/B resistant to IRCCM?
The A and B are TV guided so they should be totally unaffected by any jammer in game though I haven’t had the chance to test this yet.
Yes. The L-DIRCM does not currently affect TV weapons. This is why the Strela can still shoot these helicopters, since it has the dual-channel. (It is also why the Stingers should be able to hit them buuuuut…)
Didn’t even bothered just to waste it. Any cannon works for me, because they usually don’t pay attention.
Might try to take F-16A instead of AV-8B to see how it works.
Mavericks are really unmaneuverable
IDK if this would work but im pretty sure the A10A early and possibly late get TV guided mavericks, could try that out
Only the A-10A Early gets the TV mavericks, because of Dev incompetence.

They are generally maneuverable enough to hit a helicopter, especially with how stupid the average heli-player is. And they certainly have more standoff capacity than being forced to go for guns because of stupid modeling decisions.
You wanna get that close to use it? Just use BK-90 and have it travel.to the target and then deploy its bomblets.

Yeah sounds like an easy way to get nuked by them at low alt, id rather just use a guided cluster weapon and have it auto deploy.above the area make them wonder why 56 items just popped up on radar.

Other aircraft get TV mavericks, but only the A-10A (Early) gets it when all 3 A-10s should have it.

In general yes, there is no reason to use the TV mavericks if you have the IR ones.
But in the sense that as it is currently modelled, the TV mavericks are the only ones which can bypass L-DIRCM, all aircraft that should have them, need them.
