AGM-179 missiles do no damage

JAGM warhead: about 9 kg, multi-purpose, combines a tandem shaped charge + high-explosive fragmentation action
The missile is specially designed to penetrate modern MBTs from above, as well as to defeat light armored vehicles, shelters and manpower.

According to Lockheed Martin, JAGM provides (one shot, one kill) even against well-protected targets.

You can’t have FnF weapons like that do the same damage as manually guided ones with similar explosive mass, while being at very similar BRs.

Yes but its too nerfed its not worth taking spikes against mbts above hellfires
More so on such a bad platform with only 4 pylons like ah60

In general helis are usless now exept the ones with dircm

You can fire your whole salvo of FnF missiles by the time you guide in two Hellfires. Exposure time between those two is vastly different as well.

That thing literally has 16 Spikes.

DIRCM helicopters don’t have FnF missiles so they are getting hard countered by years old AAs.

Yea and out of 16 u will get 3 kills

Yea and if u take all 16 u get no ata missiles and no hellfires to fire on mbts

Even if u have fnf the moment u pop out u ginna have ir missile on u and ur done

Hard to believe that when looking at stats of FnF helicopters, especially AH-60 with incredible amount of missiles.

Then you take 12 if you think ATAS can be useful against top tier jets.

And it gets hard countered by SACLOS. Tradeoffs.
With those you can’t even pop out to guide your missiles which takes a lot of time.

Its berly above 2:1 which makes sanse considering it also much more expensive

Ofc ATAS arent great but they can give u some kills on unaware targets
I take 2 Atas 8hf and 4 spikes and its the best loadout if u want to go for a streak

Hellfires are indeed subpar when compared to Spikes.
Israel has great vehicles, that’s not a secret.

Wish I had the same amount of fun with other, “better” vehicles of the same tier.

600m/s is the maximum speed so it takes you more than 10 seconds to reach a target just 6km away.
AA missiles are much faster.

600m/s is like 2x slower than AA missiles, you have literally zero chance there.
You also aren’t intercepting anything if the AA player has a single braincell.

This is not a bug. China’s missiles have also been deliberately weakened. All for Russia’s super kh39

They have damage. Or better to say they have average agm damage same as vikhres for example and average agm damage suck. Top tier tanks have enough places that are pretty good at absorbing heat damage and random point of impact won’t help either.

I thought >180mm calibre damage preset would mostly negate it, but unfortunately it turned out that the caliber of the jagm is smaller. The only thing that can help now is top down attack, same as lmur have. This still won’t give stable oneshots, but in theory it should improve the situation quite a bit.

i think they should rework all atgm of hellfire type do a bigger arch, since if you go higher than 40 meters above the ground - you dead, even now, without new aa for the rest of the countries
