The Machbet (Imp. Chapal has the same lock range but worse platform) can’t do jack shit against anything beyond 4-6 km. If you have a helli shooting ATGMs at you you are done, the stingers can’t lock helis in all-aspect beyond 3 km. Or if you have an orbital bomber flying at 6 km above you you are also useless.
Meanwhile the totaly balanced Pantsir-S1 is literally spawn camping any airwehicle from 15+ km with the stalinium nuclear ICBM missles and the quantum radar which is fun fact dose not show up on the radar warning system if you are tracked by the Pantsirs tracking radar since for some fucking reason only the search ping is detected??? Anyways give Israel something that can actually kill things from 10km

The Devs should really prioritize on making a top tier SAM model for Israel equivalent to the Pantsir/ADATS/ITO etc the next update after December… It’s sooooo wrong to leave them out like that. They are already good with the amount of MBTs. Some other support vehicles would help them a lot.

Just want to mention, now that the new ammo crates are coming for SPAA, I believe it means the Machbet is more viable than the Imp. Chaparral (to an extent). No longer will it be limited to just 4 missiles, and having a gimble limit and a gun is quite important to me.

To this day I still have no idea why the Imp. Chapal is above the Machbet. Like you have the same lock range in both aspect modes, same missle performance, but the missle has a fixed seeker and you dont have a gun, and you are an even less armored platform. The only positve is the extra 4 missle and a better thermal scope. And this is supposed to be and upgrade???

Wait does the Imp. Chaparral have 8 or 12 total missiles? I wouldn’t know cuz I never get through 4 of them lmao…
Also yeah, regardless the machet honestly has better missiles than the Imp Chaparral, bc frankly the slightly extra range and 2Gs of pull aren’t making up for that gimble limit it so desperately needs. The only reason no one takes it is because it only has 4 missiles, which seems like will change soon.

Agree with everything.
Even the VADS alone has Machbet in my lineup over Chaparral.
Chap is just completely useless against helicopters with IRCM. Ka52 sat above your spawn? Every single missile will miss.
At least Machbet offers some defense against such rocket rushes. Heck, Namer with its spikes is probably the best SPAA in the Israeli tree these days lol. The situation is grim.

I want to know what kind of fent laced crack they have been smoking to think that the CUM-BUS-2000, the Netz, and premium Netz are anyway shape or form viable at 12. + br fighting against br 13. + planes with only fucking Python-3 missiles. Short range IR missiles with no ICCRM.

sometimes gaijin forgets that CAS armament is only good at ground battles, so they might have made a mistake by making it a higher br because of the cas armament for no reason at all.
that’s the only thing i could think of, but for air, yes the only thing going for it is the python 3s.
