We need a plane like the yak-38B in the American tech tree now due to the buffs. we could get the lancer or any other afterburning jet instead of the shit show of the Canberra.

I’m quite confident that the Lancer would be at a fairly high BR. It certainly wouldn’t go right after the B-57’s, and before the B-66B.
And depending on its loudout and countermeasures, it might even go after the F-105D.

I wouldnt call the B1 an equivalent to the Yak-28B (it would be an equivalent to the Tu-160 or Tu-20) and I can’t really think of an equivalent outside of a strike jet like the F-105.
Maybe an earlier variant than the F-105D we have in-game? But I don’t know much about them

For a true Bomber it’s hard to find a candidate for the low supersonic gap.
There is the Vought YA-7F ‘Strikefighter’ - 2 built, Mach 1.2, 20mm + plenty of bombs - but I see a couple of problems. Most likely it would be classed as an attacker, and because of its limited build status it would probably end up as a premium/event vehicle.
