After some updates, the game crashed my graphics card

My computer components
10600k
rtx 3070
16gb ram
Although not always, after some updates, my graphics card crashes in the middle of the match for no reason while playing a game, it does not respond in any way, I have to uninstall the driver with ddu and reinstall it, it does not fix it in any other way, for example, there was no problem yesterday or the day before that, after today’s update, I went to war with su25k, I took the plane off the runway, my graphics card crashed, I had to uninstall it with ddu and reinstall it, I have started to encounter such a problem after some updates for the last 3-4 months, if the problem is caused by my graphics card, I should encounter similar problems in other games I play, but I have not encountered a similar problem in any other game I play, can you help me

and in addition, just because of this error, I encountered this problem today when I was about to finish grinding the 3rd star of the f14 mission and I could not get the star, the time was not enough

You are not only one to have GPU problems with WT

Something in the code

But I don’t know if you noticed, this problem started happening recently, within 3-4 months, I even thought that the problem was caused by me, but if it is a general problem, I relaxed a little.

All you can do is clean your card so it isn’t heat problem ,clean install of drivers …rest is up to Gaijin

Try playing on ULQ as well

I just cleaned my card. It’s hovering around 73 degrees under full load (all settings are at the highest level). I guess there’s nothing else I can do about the heating. By the way, what’s happening to ULQ? Can you explain it to me?

Just change settings to Ultra low quality in graphics , your GPU won’t have to work so hard and might eliminate crashes if it is bad drivers.

Easy to switch back later.

  1. Check your Geforce Experience that it is up to date
  2. Check your Windows updates, including optional updates.
  3. The game does go into a “infinite render, need more, need more, need more” sometimes. Best way to counter this is to manually limit the max fps in Nvidia Control.
  4. Full Screen over Windowed. WDM struggles to process WT in Windowed mode.
  5. If you run any textures / graphical mods - try removing them. Some of the files are in poor-built 8k resolution and that can affect your gpu performance when rendering.

I checked everything, I play in full screen and full HD resolution, the only thing I didn’t do was limit the fps, but my monitor is 60hz and when I limit the fps, I compromise the fluidity of the game a lot. When I release the fps, I get an average of 80 to 110 fps, and of course, after the update, I started to experience momentary lags in the game.

On 60Hz do not limit to below 75 FPS. Limiting the FPS stops the GPU from trying to render more than what is needed and what it is capable of doing.

If you are on a 60Hz having more than 60 FPS will most likely lead to screen tearing anyways, worsening the experience. Running vSync or matching exactly 60 to 60 in your case the same frame will be rendered twice on a frame drop that then again makes it feel like a stutter. Just need to find the balance.

I am able to run the game on high at 80fps constant while streaming to twitch & tiktok @ 1080p, 60fps with a bitrate of 6400. Only time it sometimes lag is when loading into a match and only while streaming. Restarting the game usually fixes it but that is to do with how the application capture work.
