After clicking "Start Game" on Steam, the game won't launch

After clicking, a small BE window popped up, and then it reverted back to the launch game button. The game window never appeared at all.

There aren’t any logs either that would let me see why the game just won’t start.

The small BattlEye window is the key diagnostic clue. Before reinstalling the whole game, please capture the exact text shown in that window; different BattlEye failures require different fixes.

Safe first steps:

  1. Verify War Thunder’s files in Steam so the current BattlEye launcher and service files are restored.
  2. Check that the BattlEye launcher/service is not being blocked by antivirus or firewall.
  3. Close overlays, injectors and unnecessary hardware utilities for one test.
  4. If the message specifically reports a service installation/startup failure, delete the BattlEye service directory described in the official guide and relaunch so it can be recreated.
  5. Check the Windows Event Viewer at the launch timestamp if the BattlEye window closes too quickly.

Please post the precise BattlEye message, Windows version and whether aces.exe starts briefly in Task Manager. Without that information, deleting random game folders or disabling security features would be guesswork.
