After 3 years, Israel still does not have a single "Top Tier" SPAA

And to make it worse, the Pantsir doesn’t usually have to deal with them since they’re normally on the same team.
(but that’s a whole different conversation)

Well its great also it missiles goes 720mps which almost half of the pantsir speed

more specifically, SPYDER can use derbys and python 4 & 5. the pythons specifically are aim-9X level, if not better. which means this AA should have both good AA capabilities against long ranged CAS. and also be able to shoot down closer threats like hellis or a random guy with a stukah at 11.7 for some reason

great choice coming out in 2060 for war thunder

Then lets use another example. Missiles such as the late generation AGM-65 models such as the G and D as well as the Brimstone still manage to comfortably outrange the Pantsir. This doesn’t take into account all the new GPS-guided glide bombs that these aircraft carry in bulk. The new Raphael will also be receiving GPS-guided ordinance capable of tracking moving targets independently and comfortably outside of the Pantsir’s range.

Now imagine if any other SPAA had to deal with that. We’re in dire straights if nothing is done.

Indeed.

There is early versions of the spyder with only python 4 and derby which are isnt that good it wont even be top tier spaa cuz lack of range so that could come with no issues

It has been passed, so it’s not unlikely to come soon. The issue is that it needs to come quicker than later along with other similar capable systems.

yep. I wont count on gaijen though

Give HVSD/ADAMS and make Israel the coolest kid with the coolest SPAA on the block.

Didn’t even mention that Israeli Chaparral have the worst SPAA modules grind in the entire game:

Rly? I didnt notice a diffrent between the missile?
The 72e doesnt have irccm?

It doesn’t. In stock it is just American Chaparral, but with +1.0 BR. By the way, FlaRakRad got VT-1 as stock missile, but Israeli Chaparral can’t receive MIM-72G for some reason. In it’s current state - it is unplayable.

IDF Chaparal is 10.0, FlakRakRad is 11.7, so one is going to get better missiles.
The problem with the Chaparal is, the only visible difference between the two SAM’s it gets is a smokeless engine and IRCCM,

the Chaparal has the highest cost at 900+ SL per shot for a 16.5G missile, with 720 m/s, its faster then Stinger, Roland, but slower then Mistral, Strela, with iirc the biggest HE payload.
The vehicle also carries 12 missiles, with 4 ready to fire.

Another problem is that there is no line up at 10.0, Sabra at 9.7 and premium 2D, or uptier the hell out of it with the Merkava 3 series and possible RA’AM Segol.

it doesnt
both are bugged

Have I ever mentioned that the Israeli Chaparral (known as Drakon) in WT is fiction? It is a complete copy-paste.
In reality it used a completely different FLIR module AND it has access to an FN MG for the commander.
Here are the photos and the reports:

Might I also add that the report on the wrong FLIR module had been made during the devserver period of the vehicle’s introduction? It was more than a year ago.

Is Jane’s not a reliable source for these types of things?

Ever since the early 2000s they started just… making things up

1080p:not today
trickzzter:not a bug

Gaijin: Doesn’t care about Israel because nobody plays it
Players: Don’t play Israel because Gaijin doesn’t care about it

The only reason that they added the Namer is because they already had the Namer hull in the game and it would be a cheap way to add a 400k rp vehicle with very little cost

Without even fixing its armor mind you

might be a controversial opinion. Israel should’ve been a sub-tree (only unique vehicles and not copy pastes)
