of course not. why would an non-US nation understand RCS or stealth :P
Heaven forbid one of the nations with the more exceptional sensor suites know how these sensors work enough to consider it in the stealth aspects of their primary jet’s design.
i think Tankskis thinks radio waves act like a fluid based on their drawings :p
0-0 No i just did a very basic idea of it I did the wave like thing to show all the points it would hit. Therefore places where radar would bounce.
An no I do believe other nations have stealth fighters. I just don’t trust China or Russia.
if a radar is looking at the front of the aircraft it is not going to reflect radio waves off of the back of the fuselage mostly because radio waves are not reaching there
Agian just showing bounce off points.
what do you mean by this
Issue I don’t think you’re grasping, radar bounces off any aircraft, even stealth.
The way stealth works is partially to absorb the energy, and primarily to reflect it away from the source of the emission and/or receiver.
yes again basic way of how it works I understand diffrent material does diffrent things.
So you should be able to recognise the lines in the aircraft that would serve to reflect the emissions away from the source point, and thus likely away from the receiver. Russians and the Chinese do likely claim greater efficacy than there is in the system, but they do have the premise down and there is quite likely some credibility to their claims.
also saying the J-20 especially the front isnt stealthy would basically be saying the F-35’s front isnt stealthy cause they look oddly similar
Look I don’t think any of us are true experts on this or have expertise in this things.
actually the J20 is based of the F-22 and the J35 the F-35
It is basic physics how the reflection of radio emissions works. The difficult aspect is the material science, and understanding how absorbent these materials are to the emissions. Only one of these things requires expertise (or good research) to comment on, at a base level.
aslong as you have a rough concept of how radar and how stealth works i think its a thing worth discussing
yeah whats difficlut to under stand about Radar bounces off a brick better then an arrow head.
no? the reason it bounces off the arrowhead better is because its at a higher angle causing the chance of reflection to be higher
that’s the point thats why I used the arrow head as a refrence.
and when I said bounces off I meant gets bounced back to the source.
