Adding more Bases in Air RB

Adding more Bases into Air RB , would makes everyone happy because in every match there are at least 7-8 jet bombers that want to grind but there are only 4 bases so only 2 fastest players can benefit. And then other players with slow planes are just losing time and geting nervous they got nothing. And the respawn time its to longer. And players are keeping killing each other because of this things. The solution will be adding more bases or reduce the respawn of bases at a minimalistic time.

Or just add bases / objectives that only strike / bombers aircraft can attack. And make them have more of an effect on the outcome of a a match.

Adding more bases wont change much for the slower strike aircraft.

The fast strike aircraft / fighters will still just get them all and would likely start getting 2 bases instead of just 1.

Faster respawn time is certainly an option, dropping it from 5 minutes down to 3 minutes should be plenty.

2 other possible solutions

  1. Make bases significantly more tanky, but weight the rewards through damaging a base and not necessarily destroying it (though to still reward everyone well if it does get destroyed) that way it takes multiple people attacking a base to kill it (except for the heaviest of ground attackers like the buc)

  2. Add a “heavy” target like the forward AFs as attackable target, so that there is always something to bomb if all bases are gone.

Ultimately though ARB is just a bad gamemode for strikers and what we really need is an RB EC gamemode.

That is an option, but I genuinely have no idea if the game would even handle something like that.

Another possible solution.

Once the 2 bases are destroyed on either side, a timer starts and after 1-2 minutes an additional “heavy” base unlocks for that side, this base is not only physically larger , but also takes a lot more firepower to destroy (like 4-5x more bombs) and is defended by multiple SPAA/SAMs.

Destroying these bleeds a lot of tickets and rewards very well.

If you get doubled base in the current air RB

All you will see will be
Doubled MiG-21bis/23ML shamelessly stealing a base with napalm from you.

And your strike aircraft will be in the same useless status.

With (Optional) halved base reward by Gaijin.

I think I am hearing the sound of angry players who hate to get their precious fighter-focused TDM ruined and bringing ‘base destruction by Tu-4’ as an example.

No, we need a new mode: “Bomber Bob Battle”. When you press it, you get 2000RP, 10000SL and total crew lock for all your bombers for 8 minutes. I am sure the button would get much use!

Or maybe we need a New Mode: Blocking Fighters to use Bombs ?

Actually this is a good idea!
Let the fast jets hit the initial targets then open up the other bases that have more hp.
Such as “Destroy the radar outpost”
Then the main base opens up for the follow-up strikes because it’s AA is down.

Add more soft targets for lighter bombs.
Add more convoys of vehicles other than the usual 1 or 2. Increase armored vehicle destruction rewards.

Speaking for high and top tier, a good chunk of players going base bombing are in fighters not strike aircraft. One way would be the massively nerf the rewards for base bombing by fighters, say 75%. This should put a noticeable dent in the number of zombers in the F-4S, MiG-21 Lazur and the like. Maybe even force them to actually learn some dogfighting. Subsonics will suffer in the current meta even then. Supersonic strike fighters will always reach bases first.

Id agree except for the “multiroles” which could be both but are simply given 1 or the other designation and for the fact that base bombing makes stock grind a lot easier. Did a good chunk of the really early Typhoon stock grind with bombs.

So there is pros and cons to such a solution.
