Adding IRIS-T Missile for Sweden

Greetings to all War Thunder players and developers!

I would like to propose adding the IRIS-T missile to Sweden’s arsenal. Here are a few reasons why this would be a great addition:

  1. Historical Accuracy: The IRIS-T is used on Swedish JAS 39 Gripen fighters, making it a logical choice for the Swedish tech tree in the game.

  2. Modern Technology: The IRIS-T boasts high maneuverability and effectiveness thanks to its infrared homing head and thrust vector control. This will enhance the combat capabilities of Swedish aircraft.

  3. Game Balance: Adding the IRIS-T will help balance the game by providing Swedish players with modern weaponry comparable to that of other nations.

  4. Gameplay Variety: The new missile will add variety to air combat tactics and strategies, making the game even more interesting and dynamic.

  5. Current Issues: Currently, Swedish air-to-air missiles in the game are inferior to their counterparts from other nations. Adding the IRIS-T will help address this imbalance.

This is not true in the slightest.

They have both the RB99(AIM-120B) which is the best ARH in the game, and the RB74m(AIM-9M) which is argueably the 2nd best IR missile ingame.

The IRIS-T will come, but we aren’t going to see it on an air platform for a while.

And it certainly is not needed.

For me, not just swedish JAS39 Gripen C armed IRIS-T (Rb 98)

Fighter aircraft for Austrian, Brazil, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Saudi Arabia, Spain, South Africa, South Korea and Thailand mounted IRIS-T

But gaijin not ready IRIS-T on aircraft this year

How? Swedish JAS39C has the RB99 which is just an AIM-120. Try using the south african Gripen with
R-Darters lol

how about we talk about the completly imiginary heli top tier or T-80U, sweden opened the whole pandaros box with trialed vehicles as well as examples.
