Even if was available in STT, what’s the point of adding AMRAAMs on F-14D?
If it cannot be guided using TWS Auto or TWS Manual, there is no point in adding it, as it offers no additional capabilities compared to the AIM-7.

This stupid situation are made by gaijin refuse to give F-14D in TT and have weapon that it should have (9M and 7P but now we got 9M) and make su30 premuim at 13.3 that make people think F-14D should get AIM-120 for counter it. And now this are so problem now.

I do think it would be unique to see a f14D w/aim120 even if other jets already fill the role at 13.3-13.7 it’s nice to have options of different aircraft
I’ll list some of my grievances in case you missed them.
- F-14D(R) does not exist. At all. F-16XL and Yak-141 did exist, albeit with no weapons, so this is mostly gaijin’s fancy interpretation of their service loadout.
- F-14D(R) does not fill any niche of the US air tree. With the XL, US now has an amraam carrier at every single BR step from 13.0 to 14.3. No other nations cover this thoroughly.
- F-14D(R) is not unique. Not only is it another amraam slinger, it would be the sixth tomcat to be added to the US tree. There’s five F-16s in the French tree, and people already consider that brainrot slop.
- All your documents only listed either amraam testing on older F-14 platforms, or funding. Funding, which I must remind you, was cut. Therefore, F-14D(R) was never realized.
I would like to make it clear I never said we need a f14Dw/amraams to counter the su30 but used the su30 and other modern fox3 jets that are at 13.3 as justification for putting it at 13.3
And we have the ADF for that. Problem solved.
F-14D(R) are F-14A airframe that rebuild to the stadard D model. tecniqly it same as normal F-14D.

Nah SU-30 sould be 13.7 not 13.3 like F-18A sould be 12.7
Your very real plane seems to not exist at all, considering the funding to the program was completely gutted. This is like saying “wow the Germans tested and designed the Ratte, so hypothetically its real and we can add it to the game”
