Add a Cobra button or a button to enable direct control on Su27 flankers, as this was an actual feature in those planes. Under a safety switch, the plane could switch to direct control.
Now of course I haven’t flown these aircraft nor have I worked on these aircraft. And I speak purely out of the many hours that I have in flight simulators such as DCS.
The fact that you have to switch into real controls to do a Cobra makes no sense at all, and performing it in sim is very convoluted. I do not understand the constant nerfs implemented on these Russian vehicles. The Su 27, from what I can understand, is severely underperforming, and even after that, in the newest FIREBIRDS dev server update, the Su 27 flanker was further nerfed, making it harder to perform the Cobra.
Why not just create a keybind that allows you to switch into direct control and perform cobras and make it so that it is more dangerous to do such manoeuvres and so that you will be punished if you don’t perform it in the right conditions such as speed and altitude make it so that your wings will rip if you perform it at speeds past 500
and third, stop removing gimics from the game, if a certain country outperforms in BVR engagements and the other performs better in dogfights then leave it be, this will introduce more playstyles which will overall improve and make gameplay more variable per nation. make it so that more terrain facilitates more stealth tactics from Russian aircraft so that they can reach the merge and do what they’re mostly designed for which is dogfighting.
Please update the flight models of these Russian vehicles so that they match their realistic and factual aircraft in reality And stop with the artificial nerfs that don’t reflect the realistic counterparts of said aircraft. and only use the balancing system in the game [BR] to balance these vehicles.
