Oh look, me supporting the fixing of ADATS in this topic since my first post, and Thenighthunter stating something for me.

since you didnt gave them any useful information about ADATS or documents related to ADATS

There are more and edits are exclusively due to me making typing errors which I am prone to doing, though I am working on that flaw.

Either way ADATS has issues that need fixing, especially if Gaijin expects me to grind for it.
The problem is that its only missile based where ADAMS has this C-RAM like gatling which i think should be very good at shooting down missile
Also SLAMRAAM would be funny and probably sht. Funny cuz its FnF ARH on ground which would make it unique. Sht cuz its so fkn easy to dodge ARH most of the time
Still better than ADATS. Finally something more worth than LAV-AD

Dude have you been gone for a while? The ADATS alone has not been a topic of discussion for a long while and with the advent of some new, far superior SPAAG options arriving this upcoming patch, the ADATS is just further sliding into obscurity due to gaijin’s unwillingness to actually repair the poor thing.
At this point its only wise to consider it’s possible replacement unless gaijin is willing to actually recognize that it exists.

The inability for the ADATS to lock on missiles like the KH38 or the HAMMER really causes problems
Because of this i have to blind fire on missiles every time which is significantly less reliable considering how fast the weapons im trying to intercept are

Tbh i have no problems with locking hammers but ofc these fkn skilless kh38 are stealth missiles. Gayjin did make them “hotter”. U can lock them BUT it instantly loses lock. I think the reason why it does that is probably that missile is too fast for the game spaghetti code itself
Lol yes, the worst part is that the Kh-38 lofts quite aggressively, so I can only really track one manually before the rocket burns out and the trajectory straightens. At least they don’t have the habit of shooting multiple because then I’d just die guaranteed pretty much. The heating due to high speed thing hasn’t really helped much in my experience, I can still often only lock missiles while they’re still actively using their motor.
I hope to see some radar improvements next update. Though I think the biggest buff so far is that the 11.7 matchmaker doesn’t face Kh-38MTs as often anymore, and otherwise a Su-25 can be dealt with much easier. Had some pretty good success with the ADATS lately, but it’s mostly because people fly really suicidally so it’s not that impressive.
