The adats is now having issues locking targets well within its 6-mile default radar range. I can’t seem to get a lock unless they are within 2 miles or flying at me within 4 miles. I don’t know if they intended to make this space useless, but it is unplayable. I have never had a plane fly directly away from me and use 2 chaff to drop my lock.

ADATS is literally unplayable, i’d rather use LAV for more accuracy.

that is because gaijins poor modeling of IR tracking, compounded by incorrect max lock range (10km in game 13+ km IRL)
IRL ADATS was proven to be capable of locking in adverse weather including tests in a sandstorm
