What?
More eyes iirc
Put it in the TT with Bullpups. Those would be a nice tradeoff for the lack of premium bonuses.
Would also be nice to have some TT representation for the Vietnam-era Skyraiders.
this. I have almost all the documents needed plus the 3D file for the A-1E, although mine is high-poly for 3d printing I don’t think it’d be that hard to make a low-poly one for game model from the base shapes that I still have, without all the added hard surface details.
I’m willing to work with WT if they want my help to bring the A-1E in game a reality too from 3D modeling to flight characteristics and weapon systems etc.
it depends.
On the Navy models there is only flight control on the left seat, right seat is for radar system officer. On the AD-5N they added a third seat in the back to work all the night-fighter/bomber stuffs in conjunction with the right front seat. On the AD-5Q they have 2 in the back working various electronic systems for electronic countermeasure in the Pathfinder version and recon systems in the Reconnaissance version. And they also have the AD-5W with one in the back working the big belly radar and one on the front working other electronics. AD-5U with one sitting in the fuselage behind the cockpit to work the target tow system. Also whoever seating in the back can drop illumination flares through the flare chute back there too.
On the Air Force A-1E and the South Vietnamese ones most had dual control sticks so both sides can control the aircraft in case one is incapacitated during ground attack runs but they mostly flew with just one pilot, at least in the USAF case. They do have the provision for extra seats in the back for COD/VIP transport duty but that mostly happend on the Navy ones, extra fuel tank or gurney, etc.
makes sense soviet .50cal where the bane of small aircraft like helicopters and likely the same with the skyraider.
I think they do have a revshare program for stuff like that
Yes please!
the A-1H is so good but its outragesly priced on the market.
Also modernized old planes for vietnam are fantastic.
In case anyone is intrested in other old planes modernized for vietnam consider supporting these suggestions aswell!
