Actual video proof that the Rank V cannons for USSR are bugged

this is a clip from what a Ho 229 did to me in a match I had. THAT is what I expect to happen with HEFI-T. Not some dinky little “hit” like the Horten got from my 37mm, but good damage equal to what my enemies can actually put out.

Considering the Galaxy destroying damage of the ns-23s on the late russian props i would tend to agree with you. The gun itself usually does amazing damage, it may be a lag issue rather than anything else, have you checked your ping during these times your guns do no damage?

I mean usually it’s about 80 ping, but it’s not “times” when the guns don’t hit. It’s always, maybe because of the HE bug, maybe because of the increased survivability of everything else, but they just hitmarker. I have not once in the last week gotten an easily confirmed kill with the 23mms, they have always crit or just “hit” without so much as a “Target destroyed” in sight.

Welp they said that guns were fixed even tho they didn’t change anything at all. But that they are still looking into higher calibers.

I gave up at this point.

(I doubt this will change anything, but just in case): Have you tried deleting your Cache and CompliedShaders folders, then doing a file check/verify after clearing those? I do not think it should do anything, but I just do those three things anytime I have an issue. And every time a new patch drops to preempt any possible issues that the old cache/CompliedShaders files might cause (even minor patches, I don’t even bother loading in anymore until I’ve done all 3.)

Quick note, IF you do delete they CompiledShaders folder, I have found that the game will sometimes change the “download additional content only in the hanger” setting. I re-verify this setting every time I clear the CompliedShaders folder. Imo, you want this setting OFF, to the LEFT. If it is ON, to the RIGHT, it will never download yours or other player’s camo’s in a match:

I very strongly doubt this will do anything at all because of the way the game handles damage. All of the hits are calculated by the server, so it definitely is not the fault of my game specifically, but rather a fundamental issue with something in the netcode or game engine.

yep I reinstalled my game not too long ago also, the issues are not linked in any way but thanks for the suggestion
