Yeah, the issue overall isn’t the basket itself, it’s the fact that devs (probably) didn’t do research on the (probably classified) internals of what’s in the basket, so they modeled it as rotational drives.
Then again, the basket isn’t the issue, it’s that hitting the basket takes out the horizontal drive, and doesn’t act as a spall shield for electronic components like IRL.
