and we need more switchblaze 300
Looks like some straight out of WOT. But I do miss the good-looking tanks of the 80s it’s a shame they are considered outdated.
nah rank 1. it’s a tech demo so don’t get your hopes up… they should just revive the HSTV-L itself and improve it. like before it was buget constraints but i think for modern warfare it has several multi-role uses…
where UAV drone switchblaze 300/600
I think It’s a good suggestion. We need a kind of M1 who has autoloader and high mobility.
Updated post to include the quad-Switchblade loitering drone launcher.
We haven’t had SEP-3 and SEP-4 with Trophy yet. Oh my god, we still don’t have uranium armor in the game. So no matter what Abrams they put into the game, it will have the same armor as the first Abrams.
Remember this isn’t for implementation right now, this can be added after those tanks but I do agree, the Abrams’s armor is ****ed in its current state.
We still have the M1A1 FEP and M1A1 SA that can be added which are probably going to be in the same boat too. The FEP has gen-2 DU armor w/ Trophy and the SA has gen-3 DU armor.
we do have uranium armor already
just not in the chassis
Yup, and that’s the million dollar fighting question. Do we have sources to provide that Gaijin will accept DU inserts in the LFP or does it not have it at all? It’s quite a debacle.
It’s not my branch so I personally don’t know. The people I do know that are in the Army or USMC, or formerly in state it does but I’m not about to get into that lol.
Same can be extended to the Spall Liner (technically not a spall liner but a material that is designed to act like one) being integrated within the armor, closest to the interior layer (also not getting into that). That’s information put out by them, I haven’t specifically seen any documents to confirm but it’s completely logical to think such has been done since they’re experienced with the vehicles maintenance/development.
@Conte_Baracca is the best player for Gaijin to contact as a primary source since he’s a former tank commander and played a key roll in the M1A1 FEP’s upgrade program however, most is still classified so there’s really not much more he can add.
This had me rolling, sorry to you and everyone for the extreme delay. I forgot, it’s corrected.
Edit: Some of the images are broken, I’ll be going back to fix them later and also discuss a little more on the RS6 RCWS’s integration with the Javelin (since the AbramsX’s RCWS does have the mounting hardware for the Javelin ATGM, just not seen with it).
We don’t have uranium armor, neither in the turret nor on the chassis. That’s why our Abrams tanks don’t differ much in terms of armor. Both on the first M1A1 and on the last one. Otherwise, there would be a noticeable difference in armor between the M1A1HC and M1A1AIM.
yeah someone doesnt understand the game much
Gaidzin will most likely just leave the armor from the first Abrams and they will all be at the same BR, because there will be no difference between them at all. I wonder if Gaidzin are aware that the weight of the Abrams increases from version to version?
The weight increases as well as the chassis is upgraded to support said weight increases.
Yes, I understand everything very well. We have no difference at all between the M1A1 Abroms and the latest M1A2Sep2. It is practically the same tank. Although the difference between them is 8 tons of weight. I wonder what this 8 tons of weight is?
What I mean is that the weight increases but the armor does not.
No I get it, I said that because in the documents that are available state the chassis was upgraded to support the extra weight of the new-generations of armor and electronics.
not really, the m1a2 armor profile is suspiciously similar to the released values from the sewdish trials, which was an armor package that both did not contain DU and was explicitly less protective than the domestic armor.
This is something that is a product of the information available. Gaijin has few sources, let alone accurate ones, of the protection values of an Abrams.
