As damage has already been done the only way to make it competetive is by basically restricting huge chunks of newer players from playing high rank tanks until certain X amount of battles hasnt been played at previous rank.

You keep forgetting how Autoloader gives them second chance to survive.
Gaijin might fixed Fuel Exploding but new Autoloader module increased their survivability a lot.
At least Nato tanks with Autoloader also benefits from this, so thats better than nothing.

Can you explain how Autoloader absorbs entire spalling and saves the entire tank then?
Its obvious something is fishy about Autoloaders ever since they modelled.
