Leopard 2s don’t die even when they are penetrated. Now they also have additional spall liners. I don’t see how people think they are on par with any other mbt. There’s always posts about the pansir but barely any about them. Even the bvm had more discussion sparked despite being 2nd or 3rd best

I will admit, the Abrams isn’t my favorite tank, nor is it the one I’m best in. For the most part I don’t really play US all that much aside from the air (tomcot my beloved). But I know that the Abrams is “technically” underperforming.
But it’s the same problem the Flanker has. Even if you give proof to Gaijn they’ll just kinda go “nuh uh uh!” and keep it all the same.
It’s really a shame that we can’t get all the modern vehicles in an accurate 1:1 representation, but that’s just kinda how gaijin is.

You can list them off or you can’t, it doesn’t change the fact that ERA is a universal term for a MYRIAD of differing systems.
ARAT and Relikt work in ENTIRELY different ways. Quite possibly the only thing I can think of as a similarity is that they both feature explosive elements… Hence the name of the very vague term ERA.

Not sure how that’s different than what I said. M829A2 could take out Kontakt-5 under 1.5km from pure brute force, meanwhile M829A3 could do so more efficiently (and against more advanced rounds).
Leclerc ERA: Should stop 30mm AP rounds, which in game would be ~120mm. Currently, it stops 10mm. It also should have 260mm of CE protection, too.
Challenger 2 TES and OES ERA: Should stop 25mm rounds at 500m on a 30 degree angle, which in game would be ~95mm. Currently, it stops 5mm.
AMX-30B2 BRENUS ERA: Should have >100mm of KE protection, currently it stops 5mm.
ARAT ERA: Should stop 30mm AP rounds, which in game would be ~120mm. Currently, it stops 5mm.
I mean, the literal only NATO ERA that might have accurate KE protection is the M60A1/3’s Passive ERA.

Yeah, its woeful. I think someone did the math, and the current ERA on the side of the TES wouldnt stop an RPG.
