Oyep, Gayjin moment
Wish I had contact info for Spookston, between this, the bugs I’ve already reported, and my post on the HSTVL/RDFLT missing 100mm of pen, should really be brought to attention.
Poor spooks, didn’t the guy spend money to have them declassified? Seen your reports as well, good work.
Thanks man, awesome name haha
please don’t abbreviate Spookston into a slur.
Yep and he lost the documents to a dying drive so unfortunately they are lost to time
Unless they would be willing to give him new copies
Check out this post
NGL I don’t know why you guys want mods attention on the thread. Bug reports still have to go through their own process regardless of what is said on here, and other moderators don’t really have sway over corrections like this anyways.
99%+ of the bugs reported are denied by whoever takes care of bug reports. Most of the accepted bug reports are immediately shelved and never looked upon again. (Volumetric armor for the lower mantlet was accepted what? Two years ago?) Most of the bug reports I’ve read are denied for either convenience of not having to do fixes or on technicalities such as reports by students from military academies. Once it’s denied, that’s it, you can’t comment any more and it’s essentially a closed topic. The report I made in the past was denied and quoted the following “Reports that are based on assumptions without any reference to numbers are not acceptable.” Instead of using common sense and acknowledging that the component is missing, the bug manager denied the bug report completely. Now that we have an actual photo of the component in question, I do NOT doubt if I made another bug report that the bug manager would resort to something such as “without numeric measurements this is not acceptable”. With the Abrams which makes up of 60% of the top BR vehicles in the US line, this is not something to be simply ignored.
I understand the frustration but like, have some patience especially on a weekend. This post has already got way more moderator attention than most
People wonder why Tech mods deny so much stuff, but this is the bulk of what they have to deal with lmao.
I almost feel bad for 'em </3
That’s not a problem but I don’t want for this thread to end up in the archives.
Help, can’t feed the snail, the snail must be fed lol
They also deny or completely ignore some bug reports.
Abrams Turret basket is a seperate component

Abrams oil pump location is wrong with sources and proof

I flick through some of the denied one’s for a laugh every now and then, the political rant ones are hilarious, but on the subject of the abrams, if the OP makes a bug report could you have it looked at along with the other 2 links above as it looks like they’ve been missed and buried amongst other reports?
Looks like the basket got accepted!
Oil pump was marked as a duplicate
Hopefully the bug reporter had a read of this thread as well
Only as suggestion so there’s very low chance it will be fixed
True
