Gaijin ain’t gonna touch that with a 10-foot pole. The vehicle variety and with how many variants Ukraine has received from Western nations automatically declasses it as a sub-TT candidate quite frankly, and this is leaving the politics of such an addition aside.
Nobody wants to see IRIS-T SLM, Lynx, M1A1/2A6/Strv 122, Chally 2, Mirage M2K, Patriot, blah blah, in Russia’s TT.
The only way I can see them giving Ukraine to Russia, is if they’re broken up into event/premium vehicles of Soviet heritage and added only ever blue moon…
Nothing to really do with niches, it’s more about continuing the line of technology which is already laid down.
Then Ukraine doesn’t fit the definition of a sub-TT as those are meant to plug gaps/fill niches, not to “continue a line of technology”, glad we’ve managed to come to an agreement.
If where UKR would fit i say noone like Israel they can have their own TT and with German US Sweden Russia and their own vehicles in their arsenals it big enough to have their own line up and even have F-16 and Talking about T-84 maybe Japan might get them before anyone because of Thai sub tree lol

The CCCP, or Warsaw, or whatever you want to call it. This is a pact, this pact included a lot of Slavic countries, like Ukraine. These should be implemented into a tree with all of these, and Russia be its own tree.

I don’t think India should be in the British TT anyway lol I think doing stuff like this detracts from a trees individuality
I’d unironically rather see Ukraine be coupled together with other Eastern European nations that aren’t Russia into a single TT. Namely, Poland and the Czechs.

My man, the CCCP is literally just the Russian abbreviation for the USSR. I don’t understand what the issue is with everyone wanting the Russian tree to be independent from the USSR, it’s very weird.

Should the T-72M2 go to Germany? At the moment, excluding USSR, it’s the best tech tree based on your comment. The same should be made to the KV-1B to Sweden, which equally is a hot topic and few times comes up and down.

technicly they already done it - T-64, T-80UD are in USSR TT, but were made and designed by Ukraine(In soviet time, but still).

Sure, but you can represent it as vehicles, that can be brought for any lineup, of specific nations, like USA+GER+GBR+FRA and etc. That would be great, but not sure that gaijin would want to implement that.
Theres not really enough planes for Top-tier for example, but if bring Ukraine into US lineup - will be fine

That they can have but not recent vehicles when they’re using them to beat each other to death right now.
What I mean is a Europe Union tech tree, specifically Eastern Europe tech tree at the moment is not happening, it may come, but I believe people are keeping worthless hopes. Any new addition of new tech tree would obviously create some problems regarding the satisfaction of the community, let’s say the Visegrád Group nations ground vehicles is added in a single tech tree. Some a lot of people would ask why Austro-Swiss wasn’t added and so on.
Hopefully, at least for half a year War Thunder may be not close to any new addition of new tech tree when most of other nations has things to be added and things to be improved, there’s no reason of a nearly future addition of a new entire tech tree. And mostly would be composed by copy and paste vehicles, as the majority of military manufactures are already represented in-game, specfially as separated tech tree.
