About new damage control

So the new damage control and repair changes are supposed to “encourage fairness” and “reward precise hits,” right? But honestly, it just feels unfair. Now, if you can’t pump out a ridiculous amount of shells per minute, you’re basically useless. Battleships can’t even punish cruisers anymore—just rain enough HE and watch them burn. Even destroyers can chip away a dreadnought like termites on a log.

It used to be about positioning, timing your repairs, and surviving under pressure. Now it’s just “whoever throws more metal wins.” The so-called “balance” feels like punishing players who rely on accuracy and tactics instead of pure spam.

If this is the new vision for Naval Battles, maybe I should just go play World of Warships instead—at least over there, hitting someone actually means something.

Definitely an awful idea, which will make all professional naval players disturbed. Indeed, Naval mode dies in forced repairing

Guess one day we’ll be watching US destroyers literally HE-spam the Yamato to death, lol.

If this new damage control mechanism is implemented in the official server, it will lead to a massive loss of naval battle players. Conservative and old players may see over 95% leave, and at that time, any of your naval vehicles and packages will be ignored, causing your side to suffer serious financial losses. We hope that Gaijin can make a clear decision, that is, to remove this new mechanism.
