Steel Beasts is less accurate than War Thunder is, mainly because they’re far more out-of-date and were likely working with a much more limited number of sources then.
Generally speaking, Steel Beasts shows much greater protection values than what they should be.
It’s also completely worthless as a source given that Steel Beasts makes no claims regarding it’s sim having accurate armour models, even more to the point: They do not even want to have access to such source material as it comes with a long list of legal consequences they’re not interested in having to deal with.
I did not reply to that portion of your comment. I specifically replied to the portion that I highlighted, which has nothing to do with Steel Beasts.
You state that Russian armour values need to be buffed to realistic values, but I’m pointing out that realistic values would mean a decrease in some T-series’ armour.
Then you are neglecting the context and are being intellectually dishonest with yourself, since you know my statement was not saying that Russian armor needed to be buffed outright, it was a comparison to his test. I was saying if he was going off his stats then the Russian tanks (example being the T90) would’ve needed to have been buffed.
Oh wow that’s sweet I am glad you agree, honestly we need to start spreading the word around more
