When I unlocked the French F-8E and found out it has EEGS, I was really excited because it was new to me and I was thinking I could pull some really cool shots with it…
But when using it in battles, I find myself unable to land a single round on targets. I ended up giving up on EEGS and aiming by myself, which works incredibly well with those amazing guns.
However, I’m still wondering what I’m doing wrong (or just what’s wrong with that system) because it’s supposed to make you hit targets, not miss them…
Yeah EEGS doesn’t really work great in warthunder, something about vertical convergence it feels like. Sub 500 meters you wanna aim behind it, above you wanna aim in front of it. Although at that point its arguably easier to just lead yourself.
