Hey guys-
Just wondering, who here would like better AA options? I feel like there should be more. All of the low tier ones have zero aim and can’t hit a target even if it is in arcade and is right on the little guider thing. All the high tier AA is pretty much OP and makes a problem for us low-tier grinders just wanting to join a custom battle. While we’re at it, I might as well ask for settings on what tiers are allowed in custom battles.
U have zero aim
they are not op for their br( not Pantsir its op asf)
any tire u can choose what tire u want to play before entering a sever
For this, that little guide thingy in arcade tends to be… pretty misleading. It’s a good idea to disregard it as it will just mislead you for air-to-air combat.
I dunno how misleading it is for ground-to-air, but I presume similar issues.
At low-tiers, SPAA CAN hit planes quite well. Issues stem from crew skills in my experience: a fresh player playing SPAA as intended along their progression will likely be missing a good 20 or more degrees of horizontal traverse. They also need to first turn their turret and THEN adjust height due to crew being “inexperienced.” This makes aiming far more awkward than need be.
Your best bet is to fly a plane in your SPAA slot and burn its ARB rewards on increasing gunner targetting skill and then loader skills as much as possible. From zero to hero, this takes 100K RP in RB.
Beyond this, biggest revalation for me was remembering the fact that unlike aircraft, SPAA are stationary. Unlike aircraft, SPAA are BELOW their targets. This means using your Air battles intuition won’t work for estimating lead. Most importantly, you need to account for bullet drop far more than you would in a plane.
However, just like planes got vertical targetting so do SPAA. I found it handy in my bosvark to set my gun range to something like 600-800 meters to help get shots near the target.
