A quite possible fix to the SEP V3 hull

^ external composite added to the LFP as a modular kit. (Could be an add-on)

“The hull and turret integrate a new armour package”
"The M1A2 SEPv3 includes multiple upgrades to improve:

  • Power generation and distribution to support power
    demands of future technologies
  • Network compatibility
  • Survivability against multiple threat"
    "Enhanced Survivability and Lethality
Upgraded armor, a new protection package and an ammunition datalink improve crew protection "

Gaijin has gambled before due to a lack of information but it is clear the Abrams is far more superior in real life than In* War Thunder

The SEP V3 is supposed to have better protection than that ^

hello Mr War Thunder

In*

if those are composite the same as the side skirts then this would provide in warthunder terms like 60-90mm extra KE protection

The M1A2 should have:,

Add that to the 90mm KE and it solves the problem. If it’s just the LFP composite added, it still improves survivability by a notable amount

Those are weight ballasts to test the weight of the new armour on the tank

I see, well what are they made of? they might still be good add on armour /s

Yeah but this is just a test bed sepv2 testing the weight distribution of the new armour

Overall. A 3BM42 should NOT pen the Abrams LFP. The amount of times I’ve killed a SEP using my T80UD is crazy

The biggest disappointment in the game.

Gaijin completely ignored all of my bug reports and photo evidence where I clearly demonstrated that the lower glacis (LFP) was increased by roughly 20–30%. Sure, they improved the turret cheeks, but what difference does that really make? I don’t know, it’s all pretty disappointing.

Many people are saying it would have been better if they hadn’t added this tank at all, because the introduction of the M1A2C will most likely be used as an excuse to further buff Soviet tanks or introduce something even more overpowered, like a T-90M2.

So we ended up with two major disappointments in this update: the M1A2C, which is practically unchanged, and the M829A3 round, which has essentially the same performance values as the M829A2.

At this point, I don’t think it’s realistic to expect the M1A2D within the next 2–5 years, so for many players this may be the end of playing the U.S. ground tree.

I don’t even know if I’ll continue playing this game after this. To me, it no longer holds any historical authenticity or realism.

That’s not a SEPv3. It’s just a demo
