A nerf for the 2S6 and the Pantsir SM-SV

I’d like to discuss a specific case involving a Russian bias, which, although the term is real, may be affecting some vehicles. Therefore, I have a solution to balance the anti-aircraft systems
Let’s start with the 2S6
Firstly, it would increase the gun’s spread to the level of the LAV-AD. it might seem exaggerated until you see that it’s 30 millimeters penetrating aircraft as if they were tanks. Now, with its missiles, it could nerf its G-force capability to 15G to make it more balanced against other anti-aircraft guns and in Cas.
Pantsir SM-VM
Now, this is a special case, because this one has the capacity to carry up to 96 missiles and cannons, what I would do is eliminate the most controversial missile in this Russian bias, the infamus TKB-1055.
In that way we nerf Russian capabilities and increase the balance in this freaky game.

Ah, I see we’re ignoring the Mach Jesus missile which is the real aircraft killing problem…

If you want to see changes made to vehicles ingame, you need sources. They’re meant to be modeled accurately to real life, and you’d need to prove it’s inaccurate for changes to occur. This vehicle used those missiles, meaning it’s unlikely to be removed. The 2S6 nerfs you’re proposing will need sources for gun accuracy and especially for missile changes.

afaik the sm sv missiles are actually hypersonic IRL but they have too much range, should be 30km and not 40 km

Whilst I do think they need to work on realistic weapon spreads for guns where data is available, I think the first step is to just set BRs correctly.

2S6 to 11.0
Pantsir S1 to 12.7
Pantsir SM-SV to 13.0/13.3

2S6 is a trash above 8km bro… The 2S6 missile shits its pants trying to turn above that.

Except the 2S6 doesnt belong at 10.7, its undisputably the strongest AA at that br range with BOTH guns and missiles.
Gaijin moved every 10.0+ vehicle up by one br step a while ago, all except the 2S6.
It should rightfully be at 11.0. (unlike getting all the ridiculous nerfs OP was talking about)

While i agree that it should go up IIRC most sams/spaag didnt move at all with the decompression

2S6, “maxDeltaAngle”: 0.22

Pantsir S1, “maxDeltaAngle”: 0.22

Pantsir SM-SV, “maxDeltaAngle”: 0.22

The LAV-AD has less spread than them, lower max delta angle means less spread.

If you want the 2S6 and Pantsir’s to have the same spread, that’s actually a buff to them, not a nerf.

Or just buff the other SPAAs anti air capabilities, many have crippling bugs, such as the “manpad” SAMs having the maneuverability of an AIM-9E or the Type 81(c) shooting into the ground as gaijin refuses to put it’s seeker in the correct place.
If there are no bugs to fix or better weapon systems to give them just down tier them.

Do you have the numbers for the xt800t? That thing is dead accurate too given the rate of fire

You can already outroll the Tungy missile. And the radar is blind trash.

12.3 or remove it from Free SPAA option. Even that last one would make a huge difference on ground games.
